Challenge:

All participating teams to submit a business plan on “Sustainable Fashion” along with a range of innovative and sustainable outfits (at least 5). Make sure your plan and range ensure all following kinds of sustainability:

• Environmental Sustainability (Recycling, Raw Material Selection, Responsible Production, long durability etc)

• Economic Sustainability (Involvement of Local Textile Weavers & Experts, Fair wages to all, No Child Labour, Promotion of Indian textile etc)

Your Plan must have following items:

• Name of Enterprise

•  How are you ensuring Sustainability

•  Selling Price, Cost Price, Expected Profits

• Production Strategy

• Range of Outfits

• Marketing Strategy

• Any other important aspect

Do not generalize your concept. Follow one USP and present an innovative plan with respect to that particular USP (e.g., Recode is a Korean brand specializing in upcycling. Each item in the collection has a story, and creates a new culture of value in place of waste. They work with the mentally handicapped and the ‘Goodwill Store’ to deconstruct salvaged materials ready for reinterpretation and redesign)

Top 5 business and outfit range proposal (in pdf format) will be invited for a live presentation on their business plan.
